Trivia
- The film is a direct Tamil dub of the Telugu blockbuster 'Aadi' starring Pawan Kalyan, with only the lead actor changed.
- Prashanth was cast in the Tamil version to leverage his popularity, though his role was originally played by a different star in Telugu.
- This was one of the rare times director S. Narayan worked on a straight dub rather than an original Tamil screenplay.
- The film's plot about community upliftment mirrored themes in Pawan Kalyan's Telugu films, which were unusual for Tamil heroes at the time.
- Despite being a dub, the movie had a moderate release in Tamil Nadu to capitalize on the Telugu original's success.
- Composer Mani Sharma's soundtrack was retained from the Telugu version, which was uncommon for dubbed films then.
- The film's climax involving a community conflict was edited slightly for the Tamil audience compared to the original.
