Ottran(2003)
Ottran (2003) is a Tamil-language spy thriller film directed by Ilankannan in his directorial debut. It stars Arjun Sarja as Karthik, a RAW agent, and Simran as Sudha, alongside Manorama, Vadivelu, Tejashree, and Sarath Babu in supporting roles. The story follows Karthik as he uncovers an ISI plot to rescue a captured terrorist and incite communal violence in Tamil Nadu. He must protect Sudha and her family while stopping the conspiracy single-handedly. The film was praised for its tight screenplay, well-choreographed stunts by Peter Hayen, and Pravin Mani's background score. It was released on 24 October 2003 and became a commercial success.
