
Samudhiram(2001)
Samudhiram is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar and co-written by Erode Soundar. The film features an ensemble cast including Sarathkumar, Murali, Manoj Bharathiraja, Kaveri, Abhirami, Sindhu Menon, and Monal. The story follows three devoted brothers who sacrifice everything for their sister's happiness, only to rescue her from an abusive marriage. The film explores themes of family loyalty, sacrifice, and standing against domestic abuse. It was a commercial success and was remade in Telugu as Siva Rama Raju, in Bengali as Kartabya, and in Kannada as Paramashiva. The music was composed by debutants Sabesh–Murali. The film released on 31 August 2001.

Storyline
Three brothers love their sister more than anything. When a rich family proposes marriage, they give up all their wealth as dowry. But the groom is cruel and tortures their sister. The brothers must fight to bring her back home and protect her from a life of abuse.
