Sakthivel is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars Vijayakumar, Kanaka, and Selva in lead roles. It was produced by M. Saravanan and M. Balasubramanian under AVM Productions. The story follows an honest police officer transferred to a violent village torn apart by a deadly feud between two local leaders. The film features music composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vaali, Mu. Metha, and Kamakodiyan. Critics praised the film for its meaningful dialogue and strong performances. The Indian Express reviewer called it a neatly told tale. Sakthivel was released on 14 April 1994, coinciding with Tamil New Year.
