Vandicholai Chinraasu is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed and co-written by Manoj Kumar. It stars Sathyaraj, Sukanya, and Sivaranjani in lead roles. The story follows Chinnrasu, a young man who dreams of becoming a district forest officer. After his family moves to Vandicholai town, he clashes with a corrupt landowner named Santhanapandian. The conflict leads to Chinnrasu being framed for crimes and sentenced to death. The film features a soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman. It received mixed reviews upon its release on 15 April 1994. Critics noted that the story was familiar and the performances were uneven. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Bobbili Paparayudu.

Storyline
Chinnrasu wants to become a forest officer. He moves to Vandicholai with his family. There, he fights a rich man who destroys the forest. The man frames him for crimes. Chinnrasu ends up on death row. He must escape and prove his innocence.
