• Delhi Ganesh was the one who suggested Anandaraj for the villain role in Kalicharan (1988). The director was hesitant — Anandaraj was still a stuntman with no dialogue experience. Ganesh pushed for him, and that film became Anandaraj's breakout as a character actor.
• In Government Mappillai (1992), Ganesh played the nervous father-in-law while Anandaraj played the intimidating son-in-law.
