Thanga Pappa(1993)
Thanga Pappa (transl. Golden Baby) is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language supernatural horror film directed by R. Aravindraj. The film stars Shamili as the possessed child Abhirami, with Ramki in a guest appearance as police officer Lawrence. M. N. Nambiar, Thalaivasal Vijay, Aishwarya, and Sreeja play supporting roles. The story follows a young girl who becomes possessed by the vengeful spirit of an unborn baby named Angela, whose father was murdered by smugglers. The film was produced by editor G. Jayachandran under Aarthi Films. Deva composed the music and background score. Critic Malini Mannath of The Indian Express called it a fairly watchable film and praised Shamili's acting. At the 14th Cinema Express Awards, Shamili won the Best Child Artist award. The film was released on 2 July 1993.

Storyline
A young couple and their daughter move into an abandoned house. The little girl becomes possessed by the ghost of an unborn baby. The ghost seeks revenge against the men who killed her father. One by one, the guilty men die in mysterious ways. The family must survive the ghost's wrath.
