Maanagara Kaaval(1991)
Maanagara Kaaval is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language political action thriller film directed by M. Thiyagarajan. The film stars Vijayakanth as ACP Subash IPS and Suman Ranganathan as Vidya. The story follows an honest police officer who uncovers a conspiracy to assassinate the newly appointed Prime Minister Roopavathi, played by Lakshmi. The film features a professional killer named Robin hired by a senior politician Ashok Metha to eliminate the Prime Minister. It was produced by AVM Productions as their 150th film and partially shot at Palam airport in New Delhi. The music was composed by Chandrabose with lyrics by Vaali. The film received positive reviews for its cast performances and action sequences. It was released on 28 June 1991.

Storyline
