
Shock(2006)
Shock is a 2006 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Harish Shankar in his directorial debut and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The film stars Ravi Teja, Jyothika, and Tabu in lead roles, with Subbaraju and Ravi Kale portraying the antagonists. The story follows Sekhar, a man mistakenly shot by encounter specialists and framed as a Maoist, leading to his imprisonment and his wife Madhu's tragic suicide. The film explores themes of corruption, revenge, and the failure of the justice system. It was noted for its intense action sequences and emotional performances. The music was composed by the duo Ajay–Atul. Shock was released on 9 February 2006 and was later dubbed in Hindi as Mera Insaaf. A Kannada remake titled Prince was released in 2011.

Storyline
Sekhar and Madhu are a happily married couple. Their perfect life is shattered when corrupt encounter specialists mistake Sekhar for a Maoist. They shoot him and frame him with fake evidence. Sekhar is sent to prison. Madhu fights to prove his innocence, but the villains drive her to suicide. Now Sekhar must escape and take revenge.
