Lakshmi Narasimha(2004)
Lakshmi Narasimha is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna as DCP Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Asin as Rukmini, and Prakash Raj as the antagonist Dharmabhiksham. The story follows a police officer in Vijayawada who takes bribes to secretly fund the reconstruction of his destroyed village. The film is a remake of the 2003 Tamil film Saamy. It received positive reviews for Balakrishna's performance and was declared a box office hit. The film was released on January 14, 2004, and was later dubbed into Hindi as IPS Narasimha.

Storyline
DCP Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy arrives in crime-ridden Vijayawada. He takes bribes from the local don Dharmabhiksham. But he has a hidden motive. He uses the money to rebuild his village that the don destroyed. His love Rukmini hates corruption. Can he win her trust and take down the villain?
