Pedababu(2004)
Pedababu is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Paruchuri Murali. It stars Jagapathi Babu as the titular character, with Kalyani, Suhasini, and Kota Srinivasa Rao in supporting roles. The story follows Pedababu, a respected village arbiter who lives apart from his mother due to a childhood prophecy that he would cause her death. The film explores themes of sacrifice, family bonds, and redemption. It is a remake of the Tamil film Pasumpon. Sunil won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian – Telugu for his performance. The film was released on 9 July 2004 and received positive reviews for its emotional depth and clean entertainment.

Storyline
