Gowri(2004)
Gowri is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by B. V. Ramana. The film stars Sumanth as Gowri Shankar, a motorcycle mechanic, and Charmme Kaur as Shweta, a college student. Atul Kulkarni plays the antagonist Sarkar, a mafia don. The story follows Gowri's fight to marry Shweta against the wishes of her father, media mogul Chandra Shekhar, who hires Sarkar to separate them. The film is a remake of the 2003 Tamil film Thirumalai. It received positive reviews and was a commercial success, running for 50 days in theaters. The soundtrack was composed by Koti. The film was later dubbed into Hindi as The Gunda.

Storyline
