Himmatwala is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film written and directed by Sajid Khan. The film stars Ajay Devgn as Ravi, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Mahesh Manjrekar, Paresh Rawal, and Zarina Wahab. The story follows Ravi, a city man who returns to his village after his father, a temple priest, commits suicide following public humiliation by a cruel landlord. Ravi seeks revenge against the landlord Sher Singh and fights to restore his family's honor. The film is a remake of the 1983 Jeetendra-starrer of the same name. It was panned by critics for its illogical plot, poor direction, and over-the-top action sequences. The movie holds an IMDb rating of 1.8/10 and is widely regarded as one of the worst Bollywood films ever made. It was released on March 29, 2013.

Storyline
An honest temple priest witnesses a murder and testifies against a powerful landlord. The landlord humiliates the priest, who then commits suicide. The priest's son Ravi returns to his village seeking revenge. He takes on the landlord and his goons in a series of over-the-top fights.
