Biography
Mukul Dev (born September 17, 1970, New Delhi) was an Indian actor who worked across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, and several other regional film industries over a career spanning nearly three decades. He is known for his debut in Dastak (1996) alongside Sushmita Sen, and went on to appear in commercially successful films including Son of Sardaar (2012), Jai Ho (2014), and the Telugu films Ek Niranjan (2009) and Adhurs (2010). A younger brother of actor Rahul Dev, Mukul frequently portrayed antagonist and supporting roles, receiving a Filmfare Award nomination for Wajood (1998) and winning the 7th Amrish Puri Award for excellence in acting for Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011). He was also a trained pilot from the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, and passed away on May 23, 2025, at age 54.
