• Brahmanandam and Mukul Dev first shared screen space in Krishna (2008) because the director V. V. Vinayak needed a towering villain to match Brahmanandam's comic chaos. Mukul Dev, then a Bollywood import, was cast specifically to play the straight man — a role he'd never done in Telugu before.
• In Adhurs (2010), Brahmanandam's rapid-fire improvisations kept Mukul Dev on his toes. Mukul later admitted in an interview that he had to memorize his lines twice as hard because Brahmanandam would change his dialogue mid-scene, forcing Mukul to react in real time — which made their confrontations feel genuinely tense.
