• Kimi Katkar was the one who pushed for Kader Khan to play her father in Inteqam (1988). The producers wanted a younger actor, but she insisted on Kader because she felt his comic timing would balance the film's dark revenge plot.
• In Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni (1989), Kader Khan wrote his own dialogue on set while Kimi Katkar improvised her reactions. The scene where she slaps him and he delivers a long monologue was entirely unscripted — they shot it in one take.
• Kader Khan personally taught Kimi Katkar how to deliver Marathi-accented Hindi for her role in Khoon Ka Karz (1991). They would rehearse for two hours every morning before the shoot, and she later said he was the only co-star who ever corrected her diction.
