• They first shared screen space in 'Shaadi Se Pehle' (2006), but neither was the first choice. The director originally wanted two other actors who both backed out. Anupam and Boman were cast as a last-minute replacement pair — and that accidental pairing became their first on-screen jodi.
• In 'Heyy Babyy' (2007), Boman played a flamboyant, loud character while Anupam played the straight-laced, grumpy one. They built a classic comedy rhythm: Boman would go big and Anupam would pull him back with a deadpan reaction. That push-pull made their scenes together the funniest in the film.
