• Farha Naaz was a rising star when she signed Palay Khan (1986), but Raza Murad was already a seasoned villain. She later admitted she was nervous acting opposite him because his screen presence was so intense — he deliberately softened his delivery in their first scene together to put her at ease.
• In Namak (1996), Raza Murad played a ruthless smuggler while Farha Naaz played his love interest — an unusual pairing since he was 20 years older. The director said Murad insisted on rewriting their romantic scenes to make them more tender, because he didn't want the age gap to feel creepy on screen.
• After Fauji (1995) bombed, Raza Murad called Farha Naaz personally to apologize — he felt his over-the-top performance had ruined the film. She told him not to worry, but they never worked together again after that.
