• Vennila and Raghu Babu first shared screen space in Current (2009) because director Surya Pratap needed a pair that could balance comedy and tension — Raghu Babu's loud energy against Vennila's deadpan reactions. Vennila later said Raghu Babu's improvisation in that film taught her how to hold her own in a scene.
• In Current Theega (2014), Raghu Babu deliberately slowed his delivery in every scene with Vennila so her punchlines would land harder. He told the director he'd rather lose his own laughs than let her timing get buried.
• Their comic track in Son of India (2022) — where Vennila plays a fed-up wife and Raghu Babu a clueless husband — was so well received that the film's producer greenlit a separate web series concept around that couple. It never got made, but the pitch exists.
