Idhaya Thirudan (transl. Heart Thief) is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written and directed by Saran. The film stars Jayam Ravi as T. Mahesh, a TV mechanic, and Kamna Jethmalani as Deepika, a rebellious rich girl. The supporting cast includes Prakash Raj as the villainous ACP Mayilravanan, Nassar as Deepika's grandfather, and Santhanam in a comedic role. The story follows Mahesh who accidentally receives Deepika's self-sent photos and falls in love, leading to a conflict with a powerful police officer who also desires her. Produced by Kavithalayaa Productions, the film features music by Bharathwaj and cinematography by A. Venkatesh. Upon release on February 10, 2006, the film received negative reviews for its clichéd plot, weak performances, and over-reliance on bold scenes. It was a commercial failure and is often cited as one of the weakest films in Jayam Ravi's career.

Storyline
A rebellious rich girl mails her photos to a fake address to upset her mother. A middle-class TV mechanic accidentally receives the photos and becomes obsessed with finding her. When a powerful police officer also sets his sights on the same girl, the mechanic must fight against all odds to win her heart and keep her safe.
