• Prabhu and Livingston first shared screen space in Irumbu Pookkal (1991) because director R. K. Selvamani needed a pair of brothers who could look convincingly at odds — Prabhu the stoic elder, Livingston the volatile younger. Livingston was still a newcomer then, and Prabhu personally vouched for him to the producer.
• In Charlie Chaplin (2002), their comic timing clicked because Prabhu played the straight man to Livingston's manic energy. Livingston once said in an interview that Prabhu would deliberately slow down his dialogue delivery so Livingston's punchlines landed harder — a rhythm they never rehearsed, just felt.
• Their 2009 film A Aa E Ee was the first Tamil movie to use the alphabet-themed title gimmick, which later inspired a wave of similar titles like 'Uu Iruvar' and 'Aa Okkati Adakku' in Telugu. The trend started right here, with these two as the leads.
