Charlie Chaplin is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. The lead roles are played by Prabhu and Prabhu Deva, with Abhirami, Gayathri Raguram, and Livingston in supporting roles. The story follows Ramakrishnan, a wealthy businessman in Ooty, whose wife Mythili suspects him of infidelity. A well-intentioned lie involving a call girl spirals out of control, forcing his loyal friend Thiru to pretend to be her lover. The film blends slapstick comedy with emotional moments about trust and marriage. It was a commercial success and won Prabhu the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize. The film was released on 15 February 2002.

Storyline
Ramakrishnan is a rich businessman whose wife Mythili does not trust him. After a small quarrel, his friend hires a call girl to cheer him up. When Mythili returns early and catches them together, Ramakrishnan lies that the woman is his friend Thiru's girlfriend. Now Thiru must keep up the lie or lose everything.
