• Radha Ravi was already a star when he agreed to do Uyirullavarai Usha (1983) opposite newcomer Saritha. He later admitted he was hesitant at first — but after one look test, he told the director, 'She’s going to steal every scene.'
• In Simma Soppanam (1984), Saritha and Radha Ravi played a couple whose marriage is tested by class conflict. Radha Ravi deliberately underplayed his anger in every confrontation scene, giving Saritha space to carry the emotional weight.
