• Rajesh was already a star when Radha Ravi was still finding his footing. For 'Sarvam Sakthimayam' (1986), Rajesh personally recommended Radha Ravi to the director, insisting he had the right intensity for the villain role. That nod got Radha Ravi his first major break in a Rajesh film.
• In 'Ellaikodu' (1987), Rajesh played the righteous hero, Radha Ravi the menacing antagonist. What made their face-offs crackle: Rajesh would deliberately slow down his dialogue delivery, forcing Radha Ravi to match his rhythm. Radha Ravi later said that pacing taught him how to hold a scene without rushing the punch.
