• Nassar and Suman first shared screen space in Dookudu (2011), but they didn't share a single scene together. The director, Srinu Vaitla, later admitted he cast both because he wanted two distinct authority figures — one paternal (Nassar) and one bureaucratic (Suman) — to anchor Mahesh Babu's character.
• In Shadow (2013), Nassar played the villain's right hand while Suman played a cop. They had a face-off scene where Nassar deliberately slowed his dialogue delivery to throw off Suman's rhythm — Suman then matched it, turning the scene into a tense, slow-burn standoff that became the film's most talked-about moment.
• Their pairing in Vaigai Express (2017) — a Tamil-Telugu bilingual — directly led to Suman being cast in the Tamil version of the same film, which then got him noticed by Tamil director Hari for the Saamy franchise. Nassar had recommended Suman to the producer.
• On the sets of Dictator (2016), Nassar and Suman discovered they both trained under the same acting guru in Chennai — K. Viswanath's workshop in the 1980s. They started calling each other 'batchmates' and would rehearse scenes in Tamil even when the film was in Telugu.

• In The Legend (2022), their only scene together was a courtroom argument. Nassar, playing the judge, kept improvising legal jargon in Telugu. Suman, playing the lawyer, had to ad-lib counter-arguments on the spot. The director kept the first take because the tension felt real.
