• They first teamed up in Shambo Shiva Shambo (2010) because director Surya Kiran thought Naresh's chaotic energy needed a calm, older anchor. Bharani was the first person he called after locking Naresh.
• In Yamudiki Mogudu (2012), Bharani played the straight man to Naresh's manic comedy. Naresh once said in an interview that Bharani would deliberately pause his lines by half a second to let Naresh's reaction land first — a trick no other co-star did.
