• In 'Venkatadri Express' (2013), Narayana’s deadpan timing forced Ramesh to slow down his usual frantic energy. Ramesh later admitted he had to unlearn his comedy rhythm to match Narayana’s pauses.
• Ramesh personally called Narayana to offer him the role in 'Pilla Zamindar' (2011) after the director struggled to find a comedian who could play a quirky sidekick without overacting. That call started their run of six films in three years.
