• Dasaradh cast M. S. Narayana in 'Sambaram' (2003) after seeing his comic timing in a stage play. Narayana was hesitant about film comedy at first, but Dasaradh convinced him by writing a role specifically around his deadpan delivery.
• On the sets of 'Swagatham' (2008), Dasaradh would let Narayana improvise entire dialogues during comic scenes. Narayana once rewrote a 3-minute scene on the spot, and Dasaradh kept the first take because it was funnier than the script.
• After 'Sambaram' wrapped, Dasaradh and Narayana made a pact: every time they worked together, Narayana would get to choose the lunch menu on the first day of shoot. For 'Greeku Veerudu' (2013), he picked a full Andhra meal with Gongura chutney.
• The comic track between Narayana and the lead in 'Sambaram' (2003) became so popular that Dasaradh reused the same character dynamic in 'Swagatham' (2008) — a sidekick who keeps the hero grounded with sarcastic one-liners. That template later influenced several Dasaradh-written TV serials.
