• L.B. Sriram and Venu Madhav first shared screen space in Azad (2000) because the director wanted a comedian who could match Nagarjuna's timing. Venu was a stage mimic with zero film experience; Sriram, already a veteran, personally vouched for him to the producers.
• In Dil (2003), Sriram deliberately slowed his delivery so Venu's rapid-fire punchlines would land harder. Venu later said Sriram would pause mid-scene to let him improvise — something no other co-star allowed.
