• Charlie was a struggling mimicry artist when Raadhika spotted him at a stage show. She insisted the director of Nallavan (1988) cast him as the comedian. That film became his big break.
• In Keladi Kanmani (1990), Raadhika would deliberately flub her lines during serious scenes just to make Charlie crack up. The director kept those takes because her genuine laughter made the romance feel real.
