• Radha was the one who pushed for K. R. Vijaya to play the lead in Apoorva Sahodarigal (1983). The director wanted a younger face, but Radha insisted Vijaya had the gravitas for the double role. Vijaya later said Radha 'fought for me like a sister.'
• In Sarithira Nayagan (1984), Vijaya and Radha swapped acting styles mid-scene. Vijaya would set a slow, measured pace, and Radha would suddenly speed up with raw emotion. The director let them keep it — that push-pull became the film's most talked-about courtroom sequence.
• Their pairing in Simma Soppanam (1984) directly inspired director K. Bhagyaraj to cast them again in a mother-daughter dynamic for Meenakshi Thiruvilaiyadal (1989).
