• Ravi Kishan was the one who pushed for Sanjay Mishra to be cast in Lucky Kabootar (2014). The director wanted a younger actor for the role, but Ravi insisted Sanjay's deadpan timing was the only thing that would make the comedy work.
• In Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho (2015), Sanjay Mishra played the straight man to Ravi Kishan's over-the-top village head. Sanjay later said in an interview that Ravi's energy was so loud he had to physically lower his own voice on set to create the contrast — that became the film's comic engine.
