• They first met on the set of Naach (2004), but the pairing almost didn't happen. Riteish was a last-minute replacement after the original actor backed out. Abhishek, already a star, personally called Riteish to welcome him — and that call turned a professional gig into a friendship.
• In Bluffmaster (2005), Abhishek set the con-man pace while Riteish handled the comic relief.
