• For their first film together, Pudhiya Poovithu (1986), Senthil was already a known comedian. Ramya Krishnan was just 15 and making her debut. He had to tone down his usual loud comedy to match her raw, inexperienced energy — and that restraint actually made his performance sharper.
• In Raja Enga Raja (1995), Senthil played the comic sidekick to Ramya Krishnan's lead role. She set the pace in every scene — her timing was so sharp that Senthil admitted in an interview that he had to 'stay on his toes' because she would throw unexpected reactions that forced him to improvise on the spot.

• In Pudhiya Sarithiram (1990), Senthil's character was a street-smart conman and Ramya Krishnan played a naive village girl.
