Nalla Kaalam Poranthachu is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by T. P. Gajendran. The film stars Prabhu, Rajesh, Ramya Krishnan, and Sujatha in lead roles, with Senthil, Anandaraj, and Delhi Ganesh in supporting parts. The story follows Muthu, a young man who discovers his father Asogan is alive and on death row for a murder he did not commit. Muthu helps his father escape prison and sets out to prove his innocence while also arranging a cornea transplant for his blind mother. The film was released on 14 January 1990 alongside another Prabhu starrer. Critics noted it was watchable despite logical flaws and artificial sets, and praised its optimistic title.

Storyline
