• Senthil was already a comedy star when he signed Seeman (1994), but Raj Kapoor was a newcomer. Kapoor later said Senthil personally pushed the director to give him more screen time in that film, effectively launching his career.
• In Aval Varuvala (1998), Senthil and Raj Kapoor played brothers. Kapoor later admitted in an interview that Senthil would deliberately flub his lines during rehearsals just to make Kapoor laugh and loosen up before the actual take.
