• In Pataal Bhairavi (1985), Asrani played the terrified sidekick to Amjad’s villain. Their trick: Amjad would deliberately flub a line in rehearsal, making Asrani laugh, then they’d use that genuine flustered reaction in the final take. The director kept the camera rolling for those moments.
