• They first shared screen space in Remo (2016) because director Bakkiyaraj Kannan needed a pair of comedians who could play off each other without stepping on the hero's lines. Sathish and Yogi Babu were both relatively unknown then — the film put both on the map as a comic duo.
• In Velaikkaran (2017), Sathish played the fast-talking sidekick while Yogi Babu played the deadpan foil. The trick was simple: Sathish would set up the joke at double speed, and Yogi Babu would kill the punchline with a straight face. They never overlapped — they traded beats like a relay race.
• During the shoot of Mr.Local (2019), Sathish and Yogi Babu shared a vanity van because the budget was tight. They ended up writing each other's lines on set — the director let them improvise entire scenes. That van became their unofficial writers' room.
• Their double-act in Gorilla (2019) was so popular that the film's producer greenlit a spin-off web series centered on their characters. It never got made, but the pitch alone convinced other producers to cast them as a packaged deal in at least three more films.
• Yogi Babu once said in an interview: 'Sathish is the only actor who can make me laugh during a take. I have to look away or I'll break character. He knows exactly when to throw a line I don't expect.'
• In Pistha (2022), they swapped roles for one scene — Sathish played the silent observer while Yogi Babu did the rapid-fire dialogue. The director kept it in the final cut because the audience at the test screening laughed harder than at any other scene.
