• Raj Babbar and Farha Naaz were paired together because of a casting emergency. The lead actress for 'Janam Se Pehle' (1994) dropped out last minute, and the director, desperate, called Farha Naaz — who had just wrapped another film with Babbar. She agreed without even reading the script.
• In 'Fauji' (1995), Raj Babbar played a stern army officer while Farha Naaz played his love interest. Babbar later admitted in an interview that Naaz's natural, unpolished energy made him soften his usual intense acting style — he deliberately underplayed his scenes so their dynamic didn't feel like a drill sergeant yelling at a recruit.
• During the shoot of 'Sarhad: The Border of Crime' (1995), Raj Babbar and Farha Naaz developed a running joke: every time the director yelled 'cut', Babbar would immediately switch to his native Haryanvi dialect and make Naaz laugh. She later said it was the only thing that got her through the grueling outdoor schedule in Rajasthan.
