Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language action film directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The cast includes Mohanlal, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Prashant Raj Sachdev, Sushmita Sen, and J. D. Chakravarthy. The story follows two bodyguards, Heerendra and Raj, who are recruited by a vengeful police inspector to capture a brutal bandit named Babban Singh. The film is an adaptation of the 1975 classic Sholay. Upon release, it was universally panned by critics and audiences. It has been listed among the worst films ever made by multiple publications including FHM India and Total Film. Amitabh Bachchan later publicly admitted the film was a mistake. The film was released in theaters on 31 August 2007.
