Urimai Geetham (1988) is a Tamil-language political thriller film written and directed by R. V. Udayakumar in his directorial debut. The film stars Prabhu as Thyagu and Karthik as Chandru, with Pallavi, Ranjini, and Charuhasan in supporting roles. The story follows Chandru, the son of an assassinated chief minister, who investigates his father's murder while the accused man, Thyagu, fights to prove his innocence. The narrative explores political corruption, false accusations, and the pursuit of justice. Udayakumar won the Best New Face (Director) award at the 9th Cinema Express Awards. The film was released on 26 February 1988.

Storyline
