Per Sollum Pillai is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. The cast includes Kamal Haasan, Radhika, K. R. Vijaya, Manorama, Babu Antony, and Raveendran. The story follows Ramu, an orphan adopted by a wealthy family after saving them from poisoning. He grows up loyal and hardworking, managing the family fireworks business while protecting his adopted mother and siblings from greedy relatives and a vengeful smuggler. The film was loosely based on the 1960 film Padikkadha Medhai and was remade in Telugu as Ramu. It was released on 16 July 1987.

Storyline
