
Padikkadavan(1985)
Padikkadavan is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Rajasekhar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, and Ambika in lead roles. It was produced by Kannada actor Ravichandran along with his father N. Veeraswamy. The story follows two brothers who are thrown out of their home by their stepbrother's wife. Years later, one brother is framed for murder and the family must reunite to find the truth. The film is a remake of the 1982 Hindi film Khud-Daar. Ilaiyaraaja composed the music, with lyrics by Vairamuthu and Vaali. The film received positive reviews for its direction, performances, and music. It was a major commercial success and ran for 250 days in theatres. The film was released on 11 November 1985.

Storyline
Two young brothers are thrown out of their home by their stepbrother's cruel wife. Years later, the older brother Raja works as a taxi driver to educate his younger brother Ramu. When Ramu falls into bad company and lies about his exams, the brothers separate. Raja is then framed for a murder he did not commit. His eldest stepbrother, now a judge, must find the truth and save him.
