Puli Vesham is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by P. Vasu. The film stars R. K., Karthik, Sadha, and Divya Vishwanath in lead roles. It follows Munian, a loyal village orphan who becomes an underworld fixer to pay for the medical treatment of Thamarai, the girl he was hired to protect. The story shifts from a rural village to the dangerous streets of Chennai, where Munian must balance his criminal life with his promise to keep Thamarai safe. The film is a remake of the 2009 Kannada film Muniya. Puli Vesham received negative reviews upon its release on 26 August 2011.

Storyline
A young village orphan named Munian is hired to protect a rich man's daughter, Thamarai. When she falls into a coma after following him to Chennai, Munian turns to the underworld to earn money for her treatment. He must fight dangerous gangsters and evade a police officer's secret plan to bring him down.
