Sivappu Malli(1981)
Sivappu Malli (transl. Red Jasmine) is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Rama Narayanan. It stars Vijayakanth, Chandrashekar, Shanthi Krishna, Aruna, and S. S. Chandran. The story follows two factory workers, Ranga and Thyagu, who lead a revolt against oppressive village chiefs and a greedy factory owner. The film explores themes of communism, marxism, and the fight for workers' rights. It is a remake of the Telugu film Erra Mallelu (1981). The film was produced by M. Saravanan and M. Balasubramaniam under the Balasubramaniam & Company banner, a subsidiary of AVM Productions. It was released on 15 August 1981.

Storyline
Two honest factory workers, Ranga and Thyagu, decide to fight for their rights against a cruel factory owner. They also challenge the village chiefs who keep the villagers poor and uneducated. The powerful villains plot to kill them. After Thyagu is murdered, Ranga must find a way to bring justice to everyone.
