
Anandha Jodhi(1963)
Anandha Jodhi (transl. Flame of Happiness) is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by V. N. Reddy and A. S. A. Sami. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran as Anand, a physical education teacher, and Devika as Jodhi. A young Kamal Haasan appears as Balu, Jodhi's younger brother. The story follows Anand who is falsely accused of murder and must prove his innocence while evading the police. The film was produced by P. S. Veerappa under Hariharan Films and written by Javar Seetharaman. The music was composed by the duo Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy with lyrics by Kannadasan. Critics praised Ramachandran's performance and the film's music. It was released on 5 July 1963 and later dubbed in Telugu as Donga Bangaram.

Storyline
Anand, a beloved physical education teacher, is framed for a murder he did not commit. With the police closing in, he must go on the run. Only his lover Jodhi and her clever younger brother Balu believe he is innocent. Together, they race against time to find the real killer and clear Anand's name.
