Storyline

A village girl named Shakuntala is blamed for her mother's death and shunned as a bad luck charm. She falls in love with Mohan, a pilot who rejects superstition. After they marry, Mohan's plane crashes and he is presumed dead. Shakuntala must fight against her in-laws and society to prove her innocence and find the truth.
