Nenjirukkum Varai is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by S. A. Chandrasekaran from a story by his wife Shoba. The film stars Narain as Ganesan, an auto-rickshaw driver, and Deepa as Bhuvana, a rich man's daughter. The supporting cast includes Mahadevan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Kalairani, Nassar, and Livingston. The story follows a poor man who takes hospital staff hostage when his lover needs a life-saving heart transplant. The film explores themes of class divide, sacrificial love, and desperation. Music was composed by Srikanth Deva with cinematography by M. Jeevan. Nenjirukkum Varai released on 15 December 2006 and was a commercial success at the box office. The film faced a plagiarism lawsuit before release but was cleared by the Madras High Court.

Storyline
A poor auto-rickshaw driver named Ganesan falls in love with Bhuvana, a wealthy businessman's neglected daughter. When Bhuvana suffers a serious accident and needs a heart transplant, Ganesan cannot afford the surgery. Desperate to save her, he takes a hospital emergency room full of people hostage and demands that doctors operate on his lover.
