• Nassar and Livingston first shared screen space in 'Viralukketha Veekkam' (1999), but the real spark came when director Cheran cast them together in 'Virumbugiren' (2002). Cheran later said he chose them specifically because both actors had a natural, unpolished intensity that matched the film's raw village setting.
• In 'Nenjirukkum Varai' (2006), Nassar played the strict father and Livingston the rebellious son. Their on-screen tension worked because Nassar deliberately underplayed his anger, forcing Livingston to raise his own performance to match. Livingston later admitted that Nassar's restraint made him dig deeper into his character's frustration.
