Vetri Kodi Kattu is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Cheran. The film stars Murali, Parthiban, Meena, and Malavika in lead roles, with Vadivelu, Manorama, and Anandaraj in supporting roles. The story follows two graduates, Sekhar and Muthuraman, who are cheated by a fake visa agent and swap lives to protect their families from shame. Set in rural Tamil Nadu, the film explores themes of sacrifice, family duty, and the pursuit of success within one's own country. It won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. The film was released on 30 June 2000.

Storyline
